Professional Pathways: Fresh Out and Flying High

Three recent Boise State OPWL graduates will share their stories and tips, to show you what they did to become successful in the field of organizational performance and workplace learning.

About the presenters

Lisa Giacumo

Lisa A. Giacumo is a new assistant professor this year, in the Organizational Development and Workplace Learning (OPWL) program at Boise State University. Her current research interests focus on instructional design for training and performance support solutions, global training initiatives, social and digital media in training and performance improvement, and competency development in instructional designers. Before joining OPWL at Boise State University, Lisa served as a lead training and instructional designer and consultant on the PARCEL consortium project for Oxfam GB. In addition, she has served as an instructional designer and a consultant for US-based nonprofits, for-profits, community colleges, and universities, where she specialized in online, blended, e-learning, and multimedia design and development.

Suzanne Alexander

Suzanne Alexander works for Amazon, a multinational, private sector corporation.

Deann Allen

De Ann Allen is working in a large healthcare organization in the social sector and earned the OPWL outstanding graduate award.

Tiffany Carter

Tiffany Carter works for the federal government in the public sector.
