Lesa Becker received her MS in Instructional and Performance Technology from Boise State University, followed by a PhD in Education with an emphasis in Adult and Organizational Learning from the University of Idaho.
Prior to joining the adjunct graduate faculty at Boise State University, Lesa served a two-state region as the Director of Organizational Learning and Development for a national healthcare system. She worked with Executive Leaders to determine learning and development priorities for leaders to assure the organization achieved its strategic priorities. Lesa also served as the regional lead for Change Management, Culture Development, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Knowledgebase Library resources, E-Learning, Leadership Coaching and Team Development.
Previously, Lesa held the Director of Quality Improvement position with the same organization, leading Quality, Process Improvement and Risk Management initiatives.
Dr. Becker has published research and presented at national conferences on the impact of Information Overload on individual and organizational performance.
