2. Software & Hardware
This course exposes students to several industry-standard e-learning production tools. Due to the trail period lengths, students should not download and install trial software until notified to do so be their instructor. Prior to taking this course, students must ensure their computers meet the minimum system requirements listed on the software websites below.
Captivate 2017 (Previous versions of Captivate can be used as well, if already purchased)
Or, students can use a free copy of SPSS through the virtual lab provided by the College of Engineering. Directions will be provided in class. Note: When students use a slow or unreliable Internet connection from their location, they will experience connectivity issues (e.g., slow operation, sudden loss of unsaved work). It is recommended that they purchase a 6-month rental of SPSS.
